Alliance for Inclusive Investment
Welcome to the MOOC of the a4i project on Inclusive Investment in Social Care and Support. This course aims to achieve common knowledge and tools to understand each other, communicate and collaborate more easily among Social Services Providers and Private Investors.
Description
The aim of a4i is to develop a neutral platform to improve the relevance of teaching content in the professional development of decision makers. The project partners created a new cross-sectoral teaching concept, based on integrated academic and adult training learning methods together with models and case examples of good practices. Therefore, thanks to this project, Social Services Providers and Private Investors can use common knowledge and tools to understand each other, communicate and collaborate more easily.
This MOOC has been built under the Alliance for Inclusive Investment in Social Care, a transnational partnership among four Higher Education Institutions and universities, three financial institutions and four service providers from Belgium, Czech Republic, England and Spain.
Is this course for you?
This course is aimed at social care providers, private investors, innovative non-profit enterprises and public authorities.
What will you learn?
The central point of this course is reinforcing the dialogue between social providers, private investors, and public authorities by enhancing the capacity of those actors. This course offers a new cross-sectoral teaching concept, based on integrated academic and adult training learning methods together with models and case examples of good practices.
Social care providers will get to know better the new types of funding, that will help them to understand better the financial tools they could rely on. In this context, it will open new possibilities and tools to get to their social objective.
Private investors and public authorities will get a wider understanding of the realities and specificities of the projects they support in order to be able to adapt their practices and requirements.
Therefore, thanks to this project, Social Care Providers, Private Investors and Public Authorities can use common knowledge and tools to understand each other, communicate and collaborate more easily.

- Module 13 – Social Business Plan
These modules can be taken online at the participants' own pace.
- This is not an instructor-led course.
- To build your knowledge and understanding it is recommended to follow each module one after the other.
- The platform will allow you to track your progress through the course.
- Each book contains multimedia materials.
