This review provides a structured and operational framework for various
concepts, including transferability as a form of knowledge generation,
and implementation/adaptation as proactive actions. It emphasizes that a
holistic approach to assessing transferability involves shifting the
focus from transferability factors to understanding mechanisms of change
and their interactions with the context. The review highlights the
pivotal role of stakeholders in generating knowledge, capturing diverse
contexts, and prioritizing information. Ultimately, this work will serve
as a valuable foundation for guiding methodological developments on transferability in the field of disability.
