The
Social Investment Package (SIP) is a series of non-binding documents, adopted
by the European Commission in 2013 as a response to the economic crisis,
threatening the achievement of the EU2020 poverty and employment targets and
to the demographic changes that are shrinking the size of the working-age
population in Europe.
